4 Naxalites killed in Sukma

Sukma. Clashes are taking place between security forces and Naxalites in Sukma district. According to the information, now 3 to 4 Naxalites have been killed in this encounter. The encounter continues for quite some time. This encounter is taking place in Gogunda area of Sukma. Heavy firing continues from both sides. 3-4 Naxalites have been killed in the firing by security forces while some are also said to be injured. The search operation is still going on.

This is a joint operation which was conducted jointly by Sukma DRG, Dantewada DRG, CRPF 2nd Battalion and CRPF 111 Battalion. Here the security forces were doing their routine patrolling. During this time, they got information about the presence of Naxalites, after which firing started from both the sides. Sukma SP Kiran Chavan and CRPF DIG Ervind Rai said that they are keeping an eye on the encounter. The security forces are trying to house the Naxalites.
