42 e-vehicle charging stations started in Delhi
Delhi | The Kejriwal government of the capital Delhi is continuously fulfilling its announcements. In this episode, the Delhi government has completed its another announcement. Let us tell you that the Kejriwal government had announced last year to open 100 charging stations in Delhi as PPP mode i.e. “Public Private Partnership”. At the same time, e-vehicle charging stations have started in the capital.
Today i.e. on Tuesday (June 27) Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party national convenor Arvind Kejriwal inaugurated 42 e-vehicle charging stations. During this, apart from CM Kejriwal, Delhi Education Minister Atishi, MLA and councilor of Aam Aadmi Party were also present. Let us tell you that these charging stations will prove to be very economical for the people of Delhi.
CM Kejriwal said that 42 new charging stations are being started. CM informed that 11 charging stations were started by DTL a few months back. After which there are now a total of 53 EV charging stations. CM said that the electric vehicle policy which was made in Delhi is progressing very fast. CM Kejriwal said that there has been a huge reduction in pollution in the last eight years. The level of PM 10 and PM 2.5 pollution which was there in 2014 has reduced by 30%. The fruits of the steps taken by your government are visible.
