426.3 mm of rain so far in Mahasamund district

Mahasamund. During the current monsoon in Mahasamund district, an average rainfall of 426.3 mm has been recorded since June 01, 2023. According to the information received from the land records, maximum rainfall in the district was recorded in Mahasamund tehsil 585.7 mm, Saraipali 439.2 mm, Pithora 401.1 mm, Basna 356.6 mm and the lowest 349.3 mm in Bagbahra tehsil.

Today, on July 24, an average rainfall of 9.3 mm was recorded. Tehsil-wise rainfall of the district recorded 17.7 mm in Basna tehsil, 12.8 mm in Saraipali tehsil, 6.4 mm in Bagbahra tehsil, 6.0 mm in Mahasamund tehsil and 3.8 mm in Pithora tehsil.
