Mumbai (IANS). The teaser of the first chapter of the upcoming streaming series ‘Rakshak: India’s Braves’ was released on Monday.
The action-packed teaser begins with a conversation about minor inconveniences like rains in big cities that disrupt urban life and flashes back to the time when civilians are being fired upon at the Jammu railway station.
The teaser reveals that the story to be presented in the first chapter is about Lt. Triveni Singh, a young Indian Army officer of the 5 Jammu and Kashmir Light Infantry, who bravely fought terrorists during the attack on the Jammu Railway Station on 2 January 2004. Fought and died in the line of duty.
The name of the first chapter is ‘Story of Jammu Station’.
He was posthumously awarded the Ashoka Chakra, India’s highest peacetime award, for neutralizing two heavily armed terrorists at the Jammu railway station during the attack and saving over 300 civilians before being injured himself.
His bravery and valor is depicted in the teaser. With a story of valour, love and sacrifice, the teaser shows a brief glimpse of Varun Mittra who plays the role of Lt Triveni Singh.
Produced by Juggernaut and directed by Akshay Choubey, the series also stars Mitra, Kanika Mann, Mrinal Naval, Mrinal Kulkarni and Mohit Chauhan in key roles.
