5 accused found guilty in the case of murder of a young man

Sonipat. Additional District and Sessions Judge Vimal Sapra has convicted five accused in the case of shooting dead the youth. The court has sentenced three convicts to life imprisonment in the murder case and three years imprisonment to two in the Illegal Arms Act. The court has imposed a fine of Rs 32,000 each on two culprits, Rs 25,000 on one and Rs 2,000 each on two others.

Tekram, a resident of village Matindu, had told the Kharkhoda police station on December 14, 2019 that his son Deepak (22) was going to give food to the laborers in the fields. Then Deepak was shot dead. He had accused Sandeep, resident of Thana Kalan, of murder. Who had a rivalry with Deepak’s partner Pradeep. His allegation was that four months ago, Pradeep of the village had a fight with Sandeep of Thana Kalan village. On the day of the incident, his son was on the bike with Pradeep. Then his son was killed by car-borne assailants in the village fields. On which the police had registered a case.

Later the investigation was handed over to CIA Kharkhoda. Then the team of the investigating officer, the then SI Yogendra Singh, had arrested Ravi and Ajay, residents of village Chaulka, Yogesh and Virendra alias Bindra of village Bhainswal, Sandeep of village Khanda, Nitin of Jatwara in the case. Police investigation revealed that Pradeep had an altercation with Sandeep’s family. After which he started having a grudge against her. The then investigating officer Yogendra Singh had told that investigation had revealed that Pradeep’s partner Deepak was shot in the field. All the accused were presented in the court.

After the hearing in the case, on Saturday, ASJ Vimal Sapra convicted Ravi, resident of Chaulka, Nitin, resident of Jatwada and Sandeep, resident of Thana Kalan, guilty in the murder case. Ravi and Nitin have been sentenced to life imprisonment and a fine of Rs 32,000 each under the Murder and Arms Act. Sandeep has been sentenced to life imprisonment and a fine of Rs 25,000 for murder. Along with this, Yogesh and Virendra alias Bindra have been sentenced to three years imprisonment and a fine of two thousand rupees each under the Illegal Arms Act.
