He said that the facilities in the relief camps should be excellent and the affected families and individuals should be given Rs 2,000 and Rs 1,000 respectively for being sent back to their homes. If the affected people have pucca houses, they should be given Rs. He said that Rs 10,000 each would be given as compensation to repair their houses when they are sent back, this should be done regardless of the extent of damage.
He directed the collectors that 25 kg of rice and one kg each of potato, red gram, onion and palm oil should be given free of cost to the people in the waterlogged areas.
