55 voters got home voting facility
Balod. Elderly and disabled voters showed their interest with full enthusiasm for home voting in the district. As a result of the new system of the Election Commission of India, 53 elderly and disabled voters of the district, who were unable to reach the polling stations due to their physical disability, participated in this great festival of democracy by voting at their homes.
Let us tell you that to complete the process of home voting in the district, a total of 11 routes were created by the district election on the basis of the residence places of the voters. For home voting in the district, elderly and disabled voters above 85 years of age who are unable to walk were identified and the option for home voting was filled. A total of 55 voters were marked for home voting. In which two elderly people died before the home voting day. Therefore, 53 voters took advantage of this system.
