6 armed miscreants loot Rs 15 lakh from man in Nabarangpur, probe underway

Nabarangpur: Six looters looted hard cash of Rs 15 lakh in the broad daylight from Pathan Sahi under Raighar block in Nabarangpur district. The miscreants were wearing masks and looted the booty at gunpoint.

According to information, a group of six looters robbed Rs 15 lakh cash from a businessman named Abdul Ansari. He was going with two of his companions to the weekly market at Chatabeda in Parua Gram Panchayat. It is at this time that six masked looters attacked them and stole away a bag full of cash.

In the attack, Abdul Ansari was critically injured. He was rushed to the nearby Raighar Medical. Police reached the spot and started an investigation into the matter.
