6 lakh cash seized: all notes of 2-2 thousand, two Naxal associates arrested
Bijapur. In Chhattisgarh’s Bijapur district, the police have arrested two Naxal associates along with lakhs of rupees. Actually, both the Naxalites had reached the bank to exchange Rs 2,000 notes. He had 6 lakh rupees of 2000 notes. During this the police caught him.
Let us tell you that after the demonetization of 2000, a large number of people are reaching the bank to deposit money. On the other hand, on Thursday, two Naxalites reached the bank with 6 lakh rupees in 2000 notes to deposit the amount. During this, the jawans of Police Station Bijapur and DRG nabbed them. Rs 6 lakh in cash, 11 bank passbooks and anti-governance pamphlets have been recovered from them. The arrested accused include Gajendra Madvi, leader of Silger Andolan and Moolvasi Bachao Manch, and Laxman Kunjam, a resident of Narsapur.
