6 thousand 250 disabled people of the state will get scooty Rs 54.33 crore approved

Scooties will be distributed by the state government to provide support to the Divyangjans by making their movement easier. Chief Minister Shri Ashok Gehlot has approved a financial proposal of Rs 54.33 crore for the purchase of scooties.
With this amount, a total of 6 thousand 250 scooties will be purchased including 5 thousand for the year 2023-24 and the remaining 1,250 scooties in distribution last year. These scooties will be retrofitted, so that the disabled will not have to bear additional expenses later.
It is worth mentioning that in the budget of the year 2023-24, the announcement was made by the Chief Minister regarding the distribution of 5 thousand scooties.
