6 year old girl died due to drowning in a pit filled with water

Anupgarh. Kamaruddin from village Duryankala of Uttar Pradesh had come with his family to work as a laborer at a brick kiln in village 68/2 GB of Anupgarh, but today while playing, Kamaruddin’s 6 year old innocent daughter Shabnur drowned in a pit filled with rain water. Had a painful death. The laborers working at the brick kiln took the innocent body to the government hospital of Anupgarh where the doctors declared innocent Shabnur dead. On receiving the information, SI Bholaram of Anupgarh police station reached the spot and investigated the matter. SI Bholaram told that this matter is of Ramsinghpur police station area. Therefore, Ramsinghpur Police has been informed about this and further action will be taken by Ramsinghpur Police only, however, Kamaruddin has refused to take any kind of legal action. Kamaruddin (40), son of Ghulam Mohammed, resident of Duriyakala U.P. said that He had come with his family on September 10 along with other laborers to work at the BRD brick kiln located in village 68/2 GB of Anupgarh.

This morning he had gone to the market for some work. At that time his wife, Kamaruddin had a 17-year-old daughter, two 8-year-old twin sons and 6-year-old Shabnur. Kamaruddin told that the labor work at the brick kiln had not yet started. In a few days he was going to work as a laborer at this brick mill along with his family. Kamaruddin told that he is living with his family in a house on BRD brick kiln. Today when he was in the market, he came to know from other laborers that his 6 year old daughter Shabnur was playing just 50 meters away from their house. She was staying there and suddenly while playing she went near a pit filled with rain water and lost control and fell into the pit. No one was present at the time when Shabnur fell into the pit. Kamaruddin told that after some time, other laborers saw that a girl had fallen in the pit, when they took her out, she was unconscious and they immediately took her to the Government Hospital of Anupgarh, where the doctors declared her dead. On receiving the information, SI Bholaram reached the spot and investigated the matter. SI Bholaram told that this is a matter of Ramsinghpur police station area, hence action will be taken in this matter by Ramsinghpur police. He told that information about this matter has been given to Ramsinghpur Police, however, the family is refusing to take any kind of legal action. Further action will be taken by Ramsinghpur Police.
