60 snakes found in a house in Bihar
Patna (IANS). Around 60 poisonous snakes were found inside a house in Bihar’s Rohtas district. Officials said that snakes were found in the house of Kripa Narayan Pandey in Agared Khurd village under Suryapura police station in Rohtas district on Wednesday.
First people ran away from the house and informed the forest officials. However, the family members came back with other villagers and killed most of the snakes.
Amar Gupta said, “We have recovered around 30 snakes which were taking shelter near the wall. We broke the wall and saved the snakes. They were released in the forest area.”
“We have been living here since 1955 when the house was built. It is a two storied building. Kripa Narayan Singh said, we have not seen such an incident before.
