7 vicious thieves who stole transformer worth lakhs arrested
Bhatapara: 01. A report was lodged by applicant Sachindra Soni that on the intervening night of 29.08.2023, the transformer installed near village Bitkuli Khaira Mode fell down and some unknown thief stole 200 kg aluminum wire worth ₹ 20,000 inside the transformer. Tax has been taken, that on the report 651/2023 Section 379 Indian Penal Code was registered at Chowki Karhibazar and taken into consideration.
- Applicant Nitin Aggarwal, resident of Sadar Ward Bhatapara, lodged a report that on the intervening night between 31.12.2023 to 01.01.2024, 260 kg copper wire and plate, 1100 liters of transformer oil were recovered from the transformer installed in front of village Sendri Maa Kanta Pure FRK Mill. On the report of a total value of ₹ 4,10,000, an unknown thief has stolen it and OLTC insulation and other items have been vandalized and damaged. Crime No. 1 was registered in Police Station Bhatapara Rural. 04/2024 Section 379,427 has been registered and taken up for consideration.
- Applicant Abhishek Sahu, Junior Engineer, Chhattisgarh Electricity Board, Bhatapara lodged a report that on the night of 05.01.2024, an unknown thief stole oil worth ₹ 36,000 from the transformer installed near village Dhurrabandha Road and damaged the transformer. On the report, crime no. was registered against unknown accused in Bhatapara rural police station. 12/2024 Section 379 IPC was registered and taken up for discussion.
