7 year old child died due to drowning in the pond

Raipur: A 7 year old child has died due to drowning in Shitala pond of Gondwara area. According to the information, the children had gone from school to play near the pond during lunch break. During this time a child drowned in the pond. The entire matter is of Khamtrai police station area.

The family members of the deceased child have accused the school of negligence. At present the police has started investigation in the matter.
