70 villages cut off from connectivity due to bridge washing away in CG
Raipur: Mohla Manpur received heavy rains at night. The road and bridge of the National Highway under construction at a cost of crores of rupees from Dallirajhara to Gadchiroli Maharashtra border were washed away in the flood. It is being told that 70 villages have turned into islands. Dallirajhara has lost connectivity to Manpur.
The newly constructed bridge and highway between Manpur and Dallirajhara has already been washed away in the rain. In this accident, a dense population of 50 thousand living in about 70 villages of Khadgaon tehsil and Bharitola sector of Manpur headquarters have turned into islands, being cut off from Manpur headquarters.
Villagers, farmers, students of Khadgaon Bharitola area are cut off from Manpur headquarters due to the national highway and bridge being washed away to get hospital, school, bank, cooperative bank, college, fertilizer, seeds and other items of daily life. Meanwhile, passenger buses, trucks, cargo vehicles coming from Kanker Bastar, Hyderabad, Telangana, Maharashtra to Dalli Rajhara Balod district via Manpur will not be able to connect to this national highway.
