8 miscreants who spread unrest arrested, police got success in combing patrolling

Balod: In order to follow the model code of conduct and to make the upcoming assembly elections peaceful, under the direction of Superintendent of Police Jitendra Kumar Yadav and the guidance of Additional Superintendent of Police Sushil Kumar Nayak and under the supervision of Police Sub-Divisional Officer Prateek Chaturvedi, Police Station Incharge Balod Ravishankar Pandey and Police Station Balod Staff. Election related activities were continuously intensified.

In continuation of this, combing patrolling was done by Balod police station in village Nipani. A raid was conducted in the sensitive area of village Nipani, the arrest warrant issued by the court against two accused who were absconding for a long time was obtained and presented to the court. During patrolling, the elements creating unrest in the area were caught and action was taken against them under Section 151 of CrPC, 08 people of village Nipani were arrested in Police Station Balod and presented in SDM Court Balod, along with more than A report was also sent for executing bonds of higher amount. In view of the upcoming elections, Balod police will continuously conduct combing patrols in sensitive areas. Earlier too, Balod police had conducted combing patrols in sensitive areas of city Balod and village Latabod.
