
Kondagaon. More than eight members of a family fell victim to food poisoning after eating paneer ki sabzi prepared during a Chhatti program in Hangwa village of Mardapal area. All the sick people were admitted to Kondagaon District Hospital on Wednesday, February 12, where their treatment is going on.
According to the information, a family of Hangwa village organized a Chhatti ceremony on Monday on the birth of a child. On this special occasion, paneer ki sabzi was specially prepared, which was served to family members, relatives and other guests. However, the health of many people who attended the feast started deteriorating from Tuesday night itself.
By Wednesday afternoon, the condition of Ashika Korram (40), Sanviki Korram (34), Hanta Korram (38), Sonai Korram (5), Raibatti Korram (9), Sorika Korram (6), Marshila Korram (12) and Pooja Korram (9) worsened. When his condition became serious, he was immediately admitted to Kondagaon District Hospital.
