Congress supporters broke the plaque in Praja Bhawan
Hyderabad: On Friday, Jyotirao Phule Praja Bhavan became a venue for many Congress supporters to protest against the previous government, and some resorted to destroying a plaque engraved with the name of former minister Principal K Chandrashekhar Rao. The doors of Praja Bhavan will open so that people can put their questions in the Praja Darbar on Friday. However, some Congress workers were also seen at Praja Bhawan. While passing through the building, a Congress worker, seeing the name of the former minister principal inscribed on the plaque of the inauguration of the building, erased his name with a brick. The plaque also bears the name of the former minister principal along with details of Praja Bhawan (then Pragati Bhawan) and the date of inauguration. Apart from this, some other people raised slogans of ‘Congress Jai-Congress Jai Jai’ at the installation. Despite warnings, the police and officials deployed in the area did not take any action against those involved in the vandalism of the plaque. Photos and videos of people destroying the plate were widely shared on various social networking platforms.
