Case registered against man and his two relatives after eloping with minor girl
Hyderabad: An engineering student, who misled several people by claiming to be a protocol officer of the Cabinet of Ministers, was arrested by the Abdullapurmet police on Saturday. Police seized a car, two cellular phones, stickers with Telangana Police logo, a laptop, false stamp paper of the Home Minister and other documents. Busi Praveen Sai (23), a resident of Bhimravam in Andhra Pradesh and Vanasthalipuram in Rangareddy district, is studying first year M.Tech. A few months later, he created an identity card with the designation of “Protocol Officer” and left, claiming that he was working in the office of the Minister-Chief of the Territory. He was one of those who also worked for Telangana Police. A few months later, Sai lured a tribute consultant claiming that he would help the government acquire land at below market prices and earned Rs. 8,10 lakhs after showing a land in Abdullapurmet, this DCP L B Nagar, B Sai Shri. One victim, M Veerabhadra Rao, was later revealed to have been dealing in a private property and had stolen the money. Following a complaint, Abdullapurmet police registered the case with the help of sub-inspector Rachakonda SOT, Pratap Reddy or Pegau. Sai was earlier involved in six cases.
