Big drug racket exposed in Tolichowki, officials are investigating
Hyderabad: Grupo de Trabajo del Comisionado (West) team arrested seven people, including a woman, in Tolichowki on Sunday for allegedly possessing and selling hashish oil. Police seized 310 ml hashish oil and 70 grams of hashish. Starting from the alert, the task group team led by Inspector Khalil Pasha captured seven people: Syed Muzaffar Ali (26), Abubakar bin Abdul Aziz (23), Mohammad Qasim (35), Syed Murtuza Ali (34), Mubashir. Khan (28), Nitin Gaur (22) and Poonam Kumari (25). Others, Zeeshan Naveed and Syed Anwarullah Hussaini Quadri, both residents of Tolichowki, have fled. According to the police, Muzaffar and Abubakar obtained the drugs through Kasim in Paderu village of Aruku region of Andhra Pradesh and supplied them to four other people, who were local street vendors. “He sold a bottle which contained 5 ml of hashish oil. Khalil Pasha said, 2,000 local ambulatory vendors who sold them at high prices to customers across the city. The seven persons along with the property were handed over to Filmnagar Police Commissionerate for further action.
