Sajjanar Inspector Jobs for ‘Mahalakshmi’ Ladies Free Bus Travel
Hyderabad: Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) Director General VC Sajjanar made a surprise visit to the Jubilee (JBS) bus station on Monday to directly observe the establishment of free bus travel for women. Recently ‘Maha Lakshmi’ was inaugurated.
Interacted with women passengers in buses coming to JBS-Pragyapur and JBS-Jangram, express buses going to Palle Velugu and Banswara and asked about the implementation of free travel service. Later, he traveled by ordinary urban bus JBS-Venkata Reddy Nagar (Ruta No. 18 V/J) to Mettuguda and inspected the process of issuing zero tickets to the passengers.
Sajjanar said that the free bus travel service for women is getting good response. It is recommended that working women, girls, students and people of the third gender use the scheme, which is expected to reduce the financial burden of women’s travel.
“RTC has made all necessary arrangements so that passengers do not face any difficulty during the journey. “Already 40,000 employees have been informed about the guidelines regarding provision of free travel in the bus,” he said.
Let us tell you that when the free travel service was started, the number of passengers increased and as a result the operation of buses was planned. He appealed to the passengers to cooperate with the personnel.
