Mad dog terror, elderly woman injured in attack

Jagdalpur. This morning, a 65-year-old woman living in village Kurenga of Parpa police station area was attacked by a mad dog. He was brought to Mekaj for better treatment.

Family members told that Mitki’s husband Budhram, a resident of Kurenga, was going with the women of her neighborhood on Tuesday morning to the society near their house to buy ration items. As soon as she reached some distance from the house, suddenly the dog coming from behind bit the woman’s hand, the women walking with her ran away leaving her. Somehow people saved the woman from the clutches of the dog. The family members were informed about the incident. The woman was brought to Mekaj for immediate treatment.
