G Udayagiri freezes at 7.2 degree Celsius, turns coldest city on December 12
Bhubaneswar: With the onset of winter, temperature in Odisha continues to fall in several areas. On December 12, G Udayagiri of Kandhamal district turned to be the coldest city in the state with temperature recorded at 7.2 degrees Celsius.
Further, the temperature was recorded below 12 degree Celsius in as many as nine places in Odisha. Moreover, in the twin city of Odisha, the daily temperature was recorded below 15 degree Celsius.
As per the predictions by the Regional Meteorological Department, there is no possibility of any change in weather for the next seven days. The weather in Odisha will remain cool and dry. Winter in Odisha will prevail under the influence of dry winds from the North West direction.
There is little to no possibility of night time temperature changes in Odisha in the forthcoming days. Light to moderate fog can be expected in areas across Southern and interior Odisha.
