Lok Sabha proceedings were adjourned till 2 pm on Monday due to protests by opposition members demanding a statement from Union Home Minister Amit Shah on the question of breach of Parliament security. ,

Aggarwal scolded the opposition members who returned to their seats and did not show the placards to the President.
Before adjourning the House till 2 pm, Aggarwal told the protesting members, “Do not force the President to take action against you.”
When the Lok Sabha met in the morning, members paid tribute to the Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, who passed away on Saturday.
Speaker Om Birla informed the House about the measures adopted by the Lok Sabha Secretariat after the December 13 security breach incident and sought cooperation from all members so that the House can function without any problems.

The opposition MPs ignored Birla and Joshi’s call and continued their protest along with their supporters, prompting the President to announce adjournment of the House till 12 noon.
