Raman Singh elected Assembly Speaker, took charge
Raipur. For the sixth assembly of Chhattisgarh, former CM Dr. Raman Singh has been unanimously made the speaker of the assembly. For this, CM Vishnudev Sai, Charandas Mahant, Brijmohan Aggarwal, Kedar Kashyap and Ajay Chandrakar proposed. Which was supported by Arun Sau, Bhupesh Baghel, Vijay Sharma, Bhavna Bohra and Punnulal Mohale. All the newly elected members unanimously elected former CM Dr. Raman Singh as the Speaker of the Assembly by raising their hands. Today, all 90 of us MLAs of the first session of the sixth assembly of Chhattisgarh have taken oath as MLAs on the first day.
