The brute who raped and murdered a woman was arrested

Ambikapur. Police have arrested the accused after a week in the case of rape and murder of a woman under Sitapur police station area. To get strict punishment for the accused, the villagers surrounded the police station after blocking the National Highway 43 road. In fact, the dead body of a woman was found in a well on December 20 in Sur Mudapara under Sitapur police station area. Local people had informed the police about this. The police reached the spot, did the Panchnama of the dead body and sent the body to the PM for further action.

Prima facie it was found that the woman was attacked on the head with a sharp weapon. Also, the post mortem report revealed that the woman was raped. After which the police started searching for the accused. Here, after a week, the police succeeded in arresting the absconding accused. The people of the village reached the police station and blocked National Highway 43 demanding strict punishment for the arrested accused. Here, the matter has been calmed down after the police’s advice. The police are also interrogating the suspected accused in the murder case.
