Mother and daughter burnt in forest fire, accident in Mandi’s outskirts
Aut. A mother and her six-year-old daughter, who had gone from home to the forest to collect grass, got burnt in the fire. This accident occurred in the forest of Panau under Aut area.
As soon as the mother saw her daughter surrounded by fire, she jumped into the fire without caring for her own life and somehow saved her daughter’s life. During this time the mother also got partially burnt. When the villagers heard the mother’s screams, they reached the spot, pulled both of them out of the fire and took them to the hospital.
The injured daughter has been referred to Kullu after first aid. After coming in the grip of fire, the mother saved her daughter with great difficulty and then with the help of the villagers took the girl to the hospital. Both were given first aid in Nangwai and the daughter was referred to Kullu Hospital.
On Wednesday, Bhuvaneshwari, 28, along with his wife Noop Ram and their six-year-old daughter, had gone to the forest to cut grass. Meanwhile, both mother and daughter got burnt due to a sudden fire in the grass of the forest. The girl has been seriously injured in the accident.
