Shaun Marsh announces retirement from all forms of cricket
In recent news, Australian cricketer Shaun Marsh announced his retirement from all formats of international cricket. This comes after Melbourne Renegades failed to qualify through the playoffs in the BBL (Big Bash League) 2023-24.
The last match of Shaun Marsh’s 23-year-long career was on 13 January. He played for the Renegades against the Stars in the Melbourne derby at Docklands Stadium. At the same time, Marsh single-handedly scored 64 runs and won the match for the team.
“I love playing for the Renegades,” Marsh was quoted as saying in an official statement. I have met some great people over the past five years and the friendships I have made will last a lifetime.
