Nine people sentenced to life imprisonment for murder of a man in Dhubri district
Dhubri: Nine people accused of murdering a person in Bilasipara sub-division of Dhubri district were sentenced to life imprisonment on Tuesday.
Additional District and Sessions Judge, Bilasipara, Mukul Chetia sentenced life imprisonment to nine people involved in the shocking murder of Mozer Ali of Moteya village in Tokrabandha area under Chapor police station in Dhubri district.
The victim’s family had registered a case under case number 52/2009 at Chapor police station in Dhubri district. The judge heard the case under session case number 66/16 in Bilasipara Sub-Divisional Court and gave the final verdict.
Additional District and Sessions Judge convicted the murderers Mojibur Rahman, Ajibur Rahman, Noortaj Ali, Kaser Ali, Jamal Uddin, Jahan Uddin, Azad Ali, Usman Ali and Asim Uddin under section 147/148/148/323 of the Indian Penal Code. Gave. Sentenced to life imprisonment under /325/326/302 IPC.
