CHANDIGARH: 2 declared criminals in police net

Chandigarh: Police have arrested two proclaimed offenders in connection with a four-year-old gambling case.

Vijay Kumar of Sector 47 was arrested from Sector 20-D Market in a 2019 gambling case. He was declared PO by the court on October 16 last year. After his arrest he was presented in the court. The court sent him to judicial custody.

Harinder Singh Anand of Sector 27 was arrested in a case registered under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act. He was declared PO in 2022.
