Dilip Sanghani, Chairman, IFFCO, Gujcomasol and National Cooperative Association of India along with prominent stakeholders of cooperative sector met Lt Governor Manoj Sinha at Raj Bhavan today.
The meeting discussed several interventions to increase the efficiency of primary agricultural credit societies and membership of national associations.
The overall Agricultural Development Program (HATP) consulted using the experience and expertise of retired army personnel, to promote tourism, new farmer producers’ organizations and cooperatives were formed.
The LT Governor appreciated the important role played by various stakeholders in strengthening the cooperative sector. The UT administration will ensure that the cooperative movement brings prosperity to the farmers and our villages, “he said.
