Uncontrollable truck crushes 7 sheep, painful death

Balodabazar. There is no sign of slowing down the speed of vehicles in the district. Due to their havoc, both humans and animals are facing untimely death every day. One such painful road accident happened this evening on Kukardi bypass road of Balodabazar Kotwali police station area, where sheep crossing the road were crushed by a speeding truck, due to which seven sheep died on the spot. There was also a baby in the stomach of a female sheep.

After this accident, questions are now being raised that the police runs an awareness campaign continuously for a month and asks the drivers to drive as per the rules, but due to the negligence or havoc of the drivers, not only the common man but also the animals are not able to escape. The villagers are angry with today’s incident and are demanding proper compensation. On receiving information about the incident, Kotwali police reached the spot, seized the truck, arrested the driver and started investigating the incident.
