Man and woman involved in drug business worth lakhs arrested

Korba. Korba Police, while taking action against illegal liquor, seized a total of 68 liters of liquor in seven cases and sent a total of seven people to jail. In a case against illegal scrap, 7.5 quintals of scrap was seized. Korba has arrested a person who was selling 11 kg of ganja from illegal ganja dealers. On the instructions of Superintendent of Police Korba Siddharth Tiwari, the police is continuously taking strong action against illegal business by running a special campaign. Police seized 3200 intoxicating tablets from the possession of accused Hitesh Chauhan and the police got information about the drug supplier, whose places are being raided continuously.

Korba police seized 11 kg of ganja from the possession of two accused. In which action was taken under NDPS Act and he was sent to jail. Besides, preventive action was taken against five accused who were selling ganja pods and they were sent to jail. Korba police team, while taking action at different places, seized a total of 68 liters of liquor and took action under Excise Act in a total of seven cases. A total of seven persons, including scrap dealer Kiran Sahu Kusmunda and accused of selling intoxicants, ganja/tablets, Rammati alias Guddi Bai-Deepka, Amar Prajapati Kusmunda, Hitesh Kumar Chauhan-Deepka, have been sent to jail today.
