Indigo will start new flight between Amritsar, Hyderabad from March 31

IndiGo will launch a new flight from Sri Guru Ram Dass Ji International Airport to Hyderabad’s Rajiv Gandhi International Airport from March 31. IndiGo will be the second airline to connect Hyderabad to Amritsar. Currently, Air India Express operates daily Boeing 737 Max flights on this route.

Local residents and activists of the Fly Amritsar Initiative have welcomed the move by the airline. Yogesh Kamra, convener of FlyAmritsar Initiative, said, “The direct non-stop between Amritsar and Hyderabad will be a boon for the tourism industry and devotees visiting Nanded, Tirupati and Shirdi.”
