Theft worth lakhs from an abandoned house, case registered
Raigarh. Two unknown thieves raided a house and made away with cash and gold and silver jewellery. The matter is of Kotra Road police station area. The police have registered a case against the unknown thief and started searching for him. According to the information, Haleshwar Patel (30), a resident of Bhagwanpur under Kotra Road police station area, lodged a report in the police station and said that on the intervening night of March 05-06, two unknown thieves broke into his house by breaking the latch of the back door with a screwdriver. They entered and then broke the locker of the cupboard and stole the gold, silver jewelery and cash kept in it.
According to the unknown thieves he saw while leaving, one was of short height and the other one was of tall height, whose age would be around 30-32 years. Unknown thieves stole two gold earrings weighing 02 tola worth 50 thousand rupees, 6 tola rings worth 2 thousand rupees, a pair of anklets worth 3 thousand rupees and 4 thousand in cash from his house. The thieves have committed theft of 59 thousand rupees. . After the report of the victim, the police of Kotra Road police station has registered a case against unknown thieves under sections 34, 380, 457 and started tracking them.
