Neighbor accused of rape arrested

Korba. In the district, a young man living in the neighborhood has committed rape with a 6-year-old girl. The victim’s family has complained about this to Darri police station. Taking the matter seriously, the police immediately arrested the accused.

The matter is of Darri police station area. According to the information, on Friday morning around 9.30-10 am, the girl had gone to the accused’s house to play with another friend living in the neighbourhood. During this time the young man was alone at home. The accused youth took advantage of the solitude and committed the rape of the girl.

After some time, the girl reached home crying, when the family feared something untoward might happen. After this, the matter came to light when the girl was asked. The family members immediately informed the police, after which the Darri police station took the matter seriously and arrested the accused youth.
