One Maoist killed in Sukma, BGL cell recovered from encounter site
Sukma. Police has killed a Naxalite in an encounter between Naxalites and police. During the search of the incident site after the encounter, the body of a male Maoist was recovered. Apart from this, 1 piece BGL rifle, huge quantity of BGL cells and other Naxal material have also been seized.
Let us tell you that on March 31, a joint party of DRG, Bastar Fighters and 208 Cobra had left for anti-Naxal operation in the border area of district Sukma and Telangana. During the operation, on April 1 at around 7:20 am, an encounter took place between DRG, Bastar Fighters, 208 Cobra and Maoists in the hilly forest between the border villages of Peselpad and Doramangu in Telangana. In which a Naxalite was killed.
According to the information, the Maoist killed in the encounter is being identified. Police search operation is going on.
