non local driver shot

A non-local driver was shot and injured in firing by terrorists in south Kashmir’s Shopian district on Monday. The injured driver has been identified as Dilranjeet Singh, son of Parmeet Singh of Delhi. A police officer said the terrorists fired at Singh inside a hotel in Bohrihlan village, about 7 km from Shopian, seriously injuring him. “He was shot in the stomach and was admitted to the district hospital,” an officer said. He was taken to Shopian, where considering the serious nature of his injuries, doctors sent him to Srinagar. He said that the incident happened around 8.30 pm.
