Fake IAS officer arrested

Tirumala: Tirumala police on Thursday arrested a fake IAS officer who was trying to avail VIP leave by posing as a government joint secretary. Narasimha Murthy when he went to the Additional Executive Officer office and submitted the application along with working certificate copies with the Government Joint Secretary to get the VIP break darshan. When the office staff became suspicious, they informed the vigilance department. The vigilance officer inquired about the identity of Murthy who submitted the copies of the certificates. During verification, Vigilance found that the copies of certificates were fake and police was formed. The police took him into custody for further investigation.
