Medak news: Ayodhya pilgrims injured in accident in Medak

Medak: Fifteen passengers returning from Ayodhya pilgrimage were seriously injured as the mini travel bus they were travelling in overturned on NH-44 at Valluru in Narsingi mandal on Wednesday.

Around 24 passengers from Hyderabad and Sattupalli went on Ayodhya pilgrimage by train on May 24. As their return tickets were not confirmed, they hired a bus. The bus overturned at Valluru while returning to Hyderabad. The injured were rushed to the government hospital at Tupran where they were given first aid. They were later shifted to a private hospital. The accident occurred barely an hour before the pilgrims were to reach home. A case has been registered and police are investigating.
