Truck driver dies of fever, breathed his last in medical college
Korba news. The first case of death due to heat wave has come to light in the district. A person working as a truck driver in a private company has died due to heat wave. The truck driver was being treated at the district hospital, where he died on Wednesday morning.
According to the information, Ganesh Das, a resident of Premnagar under Kusmunda Police Station, has died due to heat wave. Ganesh Das, who worked as a truck driver in a private company, suffered heat wave three days ago on Sunday and was having intermittent fever. Ganesh Das’s son Raja Das said that his father was a truck driver. After returning from work, his health suddenly started deteriorating and he started having high fever.
He was undergoing treatment. When his condition worsened, he was brought to the district medical college where he died during treatment. After the matter came to light, the co-superintendent of the district medical college, Dr. Ravikant Jatwar, took information from the treating doctor. He has said that the cause of death of the driver was pneumonia, although the patient was admitted due to fever. The police have completed the process of Marg Panchnama in the case. The body has been handed over to the family after postmortem.
