Jammu: Police warned of legal action against those spreading rumours

Jammu. Jammu: Jammu Police has warned users of social media handles not to step out of their homes at night in the backdrop of terror attacks in the region.

A statement issued by the police said, “Fake information is being circulated by some social media handles about people not stepping out at night in Jammu. We have kept a close watch on such rumours and have told people that this information is absolutely baseless and they should not take such rumours and fake information seriously.” It further said that police and security forces have maintained proper surveillance.
