Sensitive Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai has instructed the officials to benefit the disabled people through the Social Welfare Department with hearing aids, tricycles, crutches, artificial limbs, and other schemes of the department. Gariaband district Hearing impaired Shivam Devangan of Gariaband district is now getting the facility to hear and speak after getting a hearing aid, which has doubled his happiness. 5-year-old Shivam Devangan is 90 percent hearing impaired.

Hearing aid is a small electronic device that a person can wear behind the ear or in the ear. The specialty of a hearing aid is that it increases the hearing power in the ears, so that people with low hearing can improve their hearing and speaking comprehension. Today many different types of hearing aids are available. The Social Welfare Department provides hearing aid facilities to the needy people. In this episode, hearing impaired Shivam, a resident of Gariaband, had to face a lot of difficulty in hearing and speaking.

At present, he goes to the district hospital every week for speech therapy. But seeing the difficulty in hearing due to lack of hearing aids, Shivam’s mother applied to the Social Welfare Department for a hearing aid. On this, Collector Deepak Kumar Agarwal directed the officers of the Social Welfare Department to take immediate action on her application with sensitivity. On this, the Social Welfare Department took immediate action and provided 2 hearing aids to the hearing impaired Shivam under the Assistive Device Supply Scheme. Shivam is able to hear well after getting the hearing aid, due to which his happiness has doubled and for this his family members have expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister.
