Telangana: Case registered against Huzurabad BRS MLA Padi Kaushik for obstructing government work

Karimnagar. Karimnagar: Police on Tuesday registered a case against Huzurabad BRS MLA Padi Kaushik Reddy for obstructing the work of officials. Based on a complaint by ZP CEO Srinivas, police registered a case against Kaushik Reddy under sections 221, 126 (2) of the Indian Penal Code (BNS).
The MLA had on Tuesday staged a protest during the Zilla Parishad general body meeting demanding the suspension of the district education officer. He along with other ZPTCs sat at the door of the meeting room and prevented collector Pamela Satpathy from leaving the room. He also had an argument with other members.
