Raigarh News: The youth who kidnapped the teenager was arrested from Janjgir

On the instructions of Superintendent of Police Divyang Kumar Patel, Kotraroad Police has succeeded in finding the girl missing for the last one and a half years in search of the missing minor. On 08 September 2024, the missing girl was recovered by Kotraroad Police from Navagarh police station area of Janjgir Champa district. The youth who had abducted the girl was absconding, who has been arrested today and sent on judicial remand for the crime of kidnapping, rape and POCSO Act.
chhattisgarh news Regarding the missing girl, on 12 September 2022, the girl’s father lodged a report at Kotraroad police station that on September 09, the girl had left the house in the name of going to school and did not return till evening. On the report of the girl’s father, a crime was registered against the unknown accused in Kotraroad police station under Crime No. 252/2022 Section 363 IPC and the missing girl was traced. During the investigation, on questioning the girl’s family and friends, it was learnt that the girl was friends with a youth named Parmeshwar Ajgalle of Janjgir Champa district’s Navagarh police station area. The suspect youth and the girl were hiding after switching off their mobiles. No concrete information could be obtained about their whereabouts. Chhattisgarh
In a special campaign to search for missing persons, police station in-charge Kotra Road Inspector Trinath Tripathi activated informers afresh to search for missing minors. Information was obtained that suspect Parmeshwar Ajgalle was seen in the village. Immediately, a team was sent to Janjgir Champa with Head Constable Karunesh Rai from the police station. Kotra Road police raided the suspect’s house along with police station in-charge Navagarh Inspector Bhaskar Sharma and his staff. The missing girl was found at the house of suspect Parmeshwar Ajgalle who was brought to Raigarh. The youth was absconding. In her statement, the girl informed about having a conversation and love affair with the suspect Parameshwar Ajgalle and told that on 9 September 2022, Parameshwar called her to Raigarh railway station on the pretext of marriage, took her to Delhi by train and kept her in a rented house and had physical relations with her. After that, Parameshwar left the girl in the village and went to Odisha to work. On the statement of the girl, sections 366, 376 IPC 4, 6 POCSO Act were added in the case and the girl was counseled by the Child Welfare Committee. The absconding accused was arrested today from Navagarh police station area and brought to the police station. Accused Parameshwar Ajgalle father Shatrughan Ajgalle age 23 years resident of police station area Navagarh district Janjgir Champa has accepted the incident.
