Life imprisonment to son who killed his mother

Sultanpur. Judge Ekta Verma summoned the accused Chandrashekhar from jail and sentenced him to life imprisonment on Thursday for the murder of his mother by a son 9 years ago in Ramnagara Dehariyawan of Haliapur police station area. The court has also imposed a fine of 20 thousand rupees on the accused. According to the prosecution, on April 2, 2015, at 10:30 in the morning, Indumati went to wash her hands at the tap, when her son Chandrashekhar attacked her head with a shovel from behind.

Indumati died on the spot in the attack. Her father Chandrapal Pandey filed a case against the murderer son. During the trial, ADGC Sandeep Singh from the prosecution side examined six witnesses. Court judge Ekta Verma sentenced Chandrashekhar, who was found guilty on the basis of the evidence of the witnesses, to life imprisonment and sent him to jail.
