Odisha Budget 2024-25: Budget allocations to some important sectors

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, who also is in-charge of the Finance Department, presented the Budget 2024-25 today in the Odisha Legislative Assembly today.

In his Budget speech the FM cum CM proposed Rs 344 crore for Odisha Matsya Mission, Rs 10,000 crore for Subhadra Jojana and Rs 200 crore proposed for Mukhyamantri Janajati Jeebika.

Here are some other important Budget allocations:

Bhubaneswar Metro Rail: ₹1000 crore
New city development: ₹918 crore
Land bank scheme: ₹200 crore
Development of railway projects: ₹600 crore
Road Development Project: ₹6180 crore
Sports infrastructure: ₹952 crore
Corpus Fund for SJTA: ₹500 crore
