Bilaspur: South East Central Railway has decided to change the route of some trains and give them special stoppage at Katni station during the work of connecting the third railway line at Damoh station under West Central Railway. The work of connecting the third railway line at Umaria and Damoh railway stations will be done on different dates from 24 August to 5 September and 26 August to 9 September respectively.
During this period, the following trains will run on diverted route and will be given a halt of two minutes at Katni station: 12823 Durg-Nizamuddin Sampark Kranti Express: This train leaving from Durg on 31 August and 9 September will run via New Katni–Katni-Satna-Ohan Cabin-Veerangana Laxmibai Jhansi Junction route and will stop at Katni station.
12824 Nizamuddin-Durg Sampark Kranti Express: This train leaving from Nizamuddin on 8th and 10th September will run via Veerangana Laxmibai Jhansi Junction-Ohan Cabin-Katni-New Katni and will stop at Katni station.
22407 Ambikapur-Nizamuddin Express: This train leaving from Ambikapur on 12th September will run via New Katni–Katni-Satna-Ohan Cabin-Veerangana Laxmibai Jhansi Junction and will stop at Katni station.
12550 Udhampur-Durg Express: This train leaving from Udhampur on 12th September will run via Veerangana Laxmibai Jhansi Junction-Ohan Cabin-Satna-Katni-New Katni and will stop at Katni station.
20808 Amritsar-Visakhapatnam Express: This train leaving from Amritsar on 4th and 11th September will run via Veerangna Laxmibai Jhansi Junction-Ohan Cabin-Satna-Katni-New Katni and will stop at Katni station.
22829 Bhuj-Shalimar Express: This train leaving from Bhuj on 27th August will run via Sant Hirdaram Nagar-Bhopal-Itarsi-Jabalpur-Katni-New Katni and will stop at Katni South station.
