Ludhiana: Young man burnt after scooter catches fire

Ludhiana: A scooter rider suffered severe burn injuries on the elevated road near Jagraon Bridge this afternoon. In the incident, the scooter was completely burnt and the 21-year-old victim was rescued by passersby. Gobindpreet Singh, resident of Model Town was going to Salem Tabri to meet his relative. According to the information, when the victim reached the elevated road, a spark from the engine of his scooter caused a fire. The fire took a horrific form and engulfed the rider as well. The victim’s clothes were burnt. On getting information about the fire, people nearby helped the victim and extinguished the fire. Passersby took the victim to the hospital for treatment.
