The case is of Okra beat under Rajpur forest range. The forest department team seized the vehicle while ploughing with a tractor on Amdari forest land. The forest staff had demanded 1.5 lakh rupees in exchange for releasing the tractor, after which the deal was fixed for 60 thousand rupees. During the transaction of money, the villagers secretly made a video. In this case, the villager has submitted a memorandum to the Collector, DFO and police station in-charge.

In the case, Forest Range Officer Mahajan Sahu said that on the basis of the complaint, an investigation is being conducted by SDO Forest. He said that prima facie the case seems to be sponsored. Conclusion can be drawn only after investigation.
